About Me
Art at:http://helenmccookerybookart.com Music at:http://www.myspace.com/helenmccookerybook I can't decide what I want to be. I thought I was an illustrator and then I turned into a musician by accident. Along the way I've wanted to be a fireman and HGV driver and it's getting too late now! I can't stop writing songs, and if I did, I'd not be able to stop drawing pictures. I wish I could play piano, trumpet and accordion. I always used to long for long blonde hair until I dyed my hair blonde and I looked disgusting. I nearly bought a motorbike (BSA Bantam), but spent the money on a bass amplifier instead and joined Joby and the Hooligans in 1977. I can't resist going into charity shops and buying clothes which I often take back the next day. I eat Magnum Classics all summer long, and mini-poppadums all winter. In spring and autumn, I don't eat anything.

Was it a mediaeval torture chamber - All those implements!
Ah Andy! You've blown my cover!
A_W_O_N_I, they are instruments of mediaeval tortilla! In a shop at the airport there was a beautiful Spanish Dancer's dress that would have fit Ken perfectly, and I was sorely tempted. Luckily, there is no Barbie to get jealous!
You should have bought the dress! Those mantillas look great. I loved one of the shops we went in in Seville with rows and rows of plastic beads, earrings and these in all colours under the sun to go with Flamenco dancer's lovely polka dot dresses. While I was admiring these Andy was buying strange and expensive tinned fish!
